As you read this letter, there are millions of children around the world with autism that are engaged in intensive therapy, struggling to learn and relearn the most basic of concepts such as responding to their names, recognising a smile, or acknowledging a peer. By participating in Eat Shop Give 2010 you will be assisting Tomorrow’s Voices in meeting our goal of providing intensive therapy to Bermuda's children that have been diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum disorder.

Last year, we launched an exciting new campaign which not only heightened the awareness of the vital services which Tomorrow’s Voices offers, but increased traffic through the doors of over 70 merchants, while helping consumers to save money!

BE A PART OF EAT SHOP GIVE 2010!!!

When a consumer makes a donation to Tomorrow’s Voices they will receive an Eat Shop Give Card giving them access to offers at participating Merchants. Donations collected will go towards Tomorrow’s Voices' mission of providing intensive therapeutic services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

The response received from the 2009 Eat Shop Give Campaign was tremendous! The merchant community welcomed the opportunity for added advertising and exposure for their businesses, products and services during a traditionally “slow” period. The community embraced the concept of giving to a great cause, and gave huge feedback on the wonderful shopping and dining experiences.

HERE'S HOW EAT SHOP GIVE WORKS - MERCHANTS

April is Autism Awareness Month. From April 1st through 10th, 2010 Bermuda’s premier merchants will offer a discount of their choice to all Eat Shop Give cardholders.

• A description of your discount/offer will be included in extensive marketing (direct and mass), advertisements and media contact to promote the Eat Shop Give program. You may place any restriction or exclusions at your discretion (example: you may not want to include sale items, online purchases, special orders or layaway items. Restaurants may want to offer a free desert, a glass of wine, or promote a special dish). Your Business, Your choice!

• There is no charge to participate in the promotion - you only simply need to honour your offer when an Eat Shop Give cardholder shops at your business during the promotional period! Cardholders will be provided with a directory of all participating merchants, which will feature your offer and your logo.

• Eat Shop Give Cards will be available by giving a donation from the 15th March 2010 at a cost of $10.00 each (a limited number of VIP cards will be available for $100.00 each). Each card distributed will list the name of the cardholder, and only the cardholder will be eligible for your discount. If you would like to increase your store traffic and have your name included as a Eat Shop Give card sale location, please indicate on the participation form. There are easy ways you can gain additional exposure by distributing the cards!

• A reception is being planned for all participating merchants and VIP card holders to launch Eat Shop Give (date and time to be determined)
